LOL. This isn't a philosophical question of why we are all here, but rather why I decided to finally post something about me. I made my way here via the EZ board switch to Yuku and have never posted an Internet bio, so here goes. . . .

I live in beautiful sunny So. Cal with my husband and two kids. In late March, we entered the wild world of chicken rearing and I made my way to BYC where I've learned a lot and met a bunch of fun like minded chicken rearing people. Besides my 3 chickens (Penny, Ruthie, and Elsie), we have a geriatric cat, two goldfish, and a 2.5 year old tadpole. No, I did not say frog, I said tadpole. It is supposed to be a leopard frog by now, but after getting back legs, it has grown no further. I can't bring myself to kill it, so it will live as a half-baked tadpole until it finally crosses the rainbow bridge.

I love to travel, having seen more than half of the US States, 4 Canadian provinces, Baja California, and 7 European countries. I'm a history fanatic and a bit of a political junkie. When I'm not handling the family stuff, my other hobby is working on my family history. I've managed to trace it back a ways and have met lots of cousins along the way.

Oh, and I'm not really 106. It's just that, well, I'm not telling!
